This nourishing class blends the healing practices of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and powerful transformation.  Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which utilizes props to fully support the body for total relaxation. These gentle reclined postures are held for longer periods of time for decompressing the joints, deeply relaxing the muscles and to de-stress and rejuvenate the mind and body.

Yoga Nidra, also referred to as Wakeful Yogic Sleep, is a powerful practice accessed through a guided meditation, taking you on a journey through body, breath and visualization.  This systematic process provides deep relaxation and stress relief on physical, mental and emotional levels.  In this deepened state we can insert positive affirmations to replace habitual thought patterns, for our highest good.

The benefits from these practices include: helps alleviate insomnia, releases stress and stress related disorders, lowers blood pressure, increases concentration and focus.
